DESCRIPTION:Winter invited stillness, a quieter season for reflection, integration, and inner renewal. Spring has just arrived, and we emerge with clearer eyes, ready to act on what we have learned and step into what we are becoming.\nThese workshops harness the cognitive science of hypnosis to support that transition. Research shows that hypnotic states enhance absorption, dissociation, and mental flexibility, the very capacities that allow us to loosen old patterns, update limiting beliefs, and meet change with ease rather than resistance. Together, we will practise turning attention inward, observing thoughts and emotions without being pulled into them, and creating space for something new to take root.\nThrough guided exercises and practical techniques, you will build tools you can carry into daily life, supporting change that lasts well beyond the session itself. Working in a group brings its own quiet power: a sense of shared experience that makes the process feel more natural, and often more enjoyable.\nLed by hypnotherapist and neuroscientist Claire Berna, the sessions combine deep relaxation with guided visualisation and experiential practice. As the thinking mind settles, inner wisdom becomes more accessible, old narratives soften, new perspectives emerge, and transformation can unfold with a lightness that may surprise you. Many participants describe leaving with a sense of having set something down: more present, more open, more themselves.\nWhat to bring: Comfortable clothing and a water bottle. You are welcome to sit or lie down on a yoga mat. There will be space at the start to share intentions if you’d like to.\nPlease note: Hypnotherapy is not suitable for those with psychosis, schizophrenia, personality disorders, or senility.
