This retreat will help you to gain insights into the nature of your patterns of thinking that don’t necessarily serve you, strengthen the muscle of self-compassion to support yourself when you are struggling, and will help stay even more connected to any meditation practice. I will be integrating some new practices on this retreat often used in Compassionate Mind Training (the practical arm of Compassion Focussed Therapy).
The retreat will be guided throughout and we will experience a variety of supported, seated, walking and mindful eating practices. Those anxious about spending 4 hours in silence should know that anyone who has attended before has found it to be really enjoyable – particularly the opportunity to totally switch off from daily demands and distractions. Snacks, bespoke audios and handouts will also be provided.
