Slow down, soften and restore your body and mind with this extended yin yoga practice led by Zoe Bowers.
Yin yoga is a beautiful, meditative practice involving long-held passive postures that help to unravel the tension and stress that accumulates in the body throughout our daily lives.
As time passes in a pose we dive deeper into the layers and tissues of the body. New sensations arrive, peak and fall, anchoring our awareness into the body. This gives us much needed space and time away from the relentless thought patterns that cycle through our minds. In this way each pose becomes a mini meditation, and an opportunity for reflection and inspiration. This is the magic of yin!
This workshop gives us time to work into the inner and outer hips, hamstrings, spine, chest and upper body, all of which are rich in connective tissue.
Yin yoga is simple, but not easy. Let’s explore.
All workshops listed here are independently run and organised and simply hosted in Light Centre venues. The Light Centre is not responsible for any content, claims or bookings for these events. Any queries must be addressed to the organisers directly.
