Yoga Drawing class ~ “Seeing Shadows”

Come make some art and learn about yoga body alignment at the same time..
Life drawing is about observing the body and drawing what we see, and yoga poses certainly make beautiful silhouettes that are interesting to draw.
Class will be hosted by Eva Lai, yoga teacher 300 RYT / former art & design teacher at the University of the Arts London.
In class we will be discussing body alignment in different yoga poses, and the misconception on how each pose “should” look like. You’ll have the opportunity to explore the poses yourself and even volunteer to model and work on that body confidence. Of course we will also experiment different drawing techniques and improve your ability to truly sketch what you “see”.
Please note this class also blends in yoga philosophy and meditation exercise where you can explore some self inquiry mind work, and start seeing some of your own shadows. Learn about lightness and darkness not only on paper, but in life.

Yoga Drawing is open to EVERYONE – no yoga or artistic experience required.
