This experiential yoga workshop will focus on coping with the biggest challenge we face in modern life – stress! Those suffering from anxiety or mild depression will particularly benefit from attending.
The 2.5h workshop will include a Yin and Yang asana (postural yoga) practise alongside other yogic and mindfulness techniques to enhance mental health.
Austeja will share a selection of exercises for the mind and body which she believes will help to alleviate the suffering caused by anxiety and clinical depression, which she herself has lived with. Bring along a notepad and a pen.
You will leave this workshop with the following:
- Practical tools and their sequence in helping to ease the effects of anxiety and mild depression
- 20min, 45 min and 75min practises to adopt in the comfort of your own home
- An understanding of how ancient yoga targeted mental health and how its practise is relevant in Modern life
