ONLINE 4 Week Yoga Beginners Course with Pamela Jahn
Course consists of 4 classes, held weekly on Mondays from the 15th Feb – 8th March.
Please note: Recordings will be available upon request for a few days following each class for those who are unable to make the live session.
The Light Centre’s ONLINE Beginners Yoga Course is designed to help you to build an understanding of the core principles and philosophy of Yoga, and explore the links between the body, breath and mind that lead to wellbeing.
This course introduces you to the physical posture practice (Asana), breathing (Pranayama), meditation and deep healing relaxation. Together you will move through sequences of movements to strengthen and open your entire body such as Surya Namaskar (the ‘sun salutation’), standing and seated postures, and practise the balance between effort and ease.
The course is suitable for absolute beginners and also for those who want to return to the basics in order to revisit the foundation of their practice and understanding.
There are limited places available so early booking is essential.
Pamela initially came to yoga as a way of healing and soon started to feel its limitless powers and wisdom. Since then, she experienced and studied a number of different yoga practices including Ashtanga Vinyasa, Hatha Yoga, Dharma Yoga and Yogasana before completing her teacher training with Stewart Gilchrist in London. Pamela teaches beginners to advanced students with a strong emphasis on breath, alignment and finding stillness in moving meditation. Originally from Berlin, electronic music has a special place in her heart and her classes. Always looking to expand her yogic knowledge, Pamela intends to teach and live yoga on and off the mat.
Pamela is eternally grateful to all her teachers, especially Stewart Gilchrist and Amanda Denton for their continued and invaluable support, trust and guidance, and Emi Tull for opening up her body and her mind in ways she didn’t think possible.
