Beverley is a qualified hypnotherapist and yoga teacher. She is particularly interested in providing this course for those who are struggling in the pandemic, financially or otherwise, and would like to offer the course at a greatly reduced rate to help make it more accessible.
In this course she will draw the most soothing and calming techniques from both for those who need to connect with a little more calm in their lives.
Show yourself some love and create a container of calm in your lockdown experience this February. Join for a centering gathering where we will explore gentle hatha based poses, and experience a deluxe relaxation inspired by hypnotherapy and mindfulness.
Beverley’s interest in hypnotherapy stemmed from years of exploration of meditation and mindfulness with regular vipassanas to Gaia House. She then experienced how hypnotherapy could contribute to and sustain wellness and creativity herself, and went on to train and apply this in the oncology setting and for carers as well as creatives.
She was introduced to yoga in the ’90’s studying for 3 years with Edward Clarke but remained a student of yoga until last year when she completed her mindfulness and yoga teacher training through Yoga Farm Ithaca.
Beverley has provided sessions for MacMillan centres, and leads regular classes at the Groucho club and the Lansdowne club as well as online private work.
Her aim is to hold space for you unwind and tune into your body, allowing the breath and movement to come together, to deepen your connection to your innate capacity for calm, clarity and creativity. They have been described as deeply nurturing, like a spa for the mind and like a big hug.
