ONLINE Pregnancy Yoga – 4 week Course with Chloe Smart
Please note: This course is suitable from the second trimester onwards (or your 12 week scan).
Each 60min class in this 4 week course includes a short meditation, some breathing exercises, as well as a yoga asana sequence adapted to your stage of pregnancy. The techniques you will learn during this course will help you stay calm, connect with your baby, and alleviate common aches and pains associated with pregnancy.
This course is suitable for all levels, from complete beginner to more experienced yoginis. You will learn how to modify your practice if you wish to go to general yoga classes later on. Chloe will include active birth poses and sequences for optimal foetal positioning, as well as relaxation techniques for yoginis in their third trimester.
Chloe is an experienced yoga teacher and mother of two beautiful boys. It took her a year to heal from a challenging first birth and early postpartum experience – she did it by studying pregnancy and postnatal yoga, using the movement, breathwork and meditation techniques she now teaches in her pregnancy yoga classes.
The same techniques helped her stay grounded and calm whilst heavily pregnant in the middle of a pandemic. During lockdown, Chloe was blessed with an empowering second birth and a rewarding breastfeeding experience. It is her calling to share these techniques with new mothers, to support them through pregnancy, birth and beyond. We live in challenging and unprecedented times, but through her experience and knowledge she can help women feel calm, grounded and positive as they navigate the changes of pregnancy and motherhood.
