4 Week Course – Each Wednesday at 7pm – 8pm from 30th June – 21st July

Confident with your sun salutations and now ready to evolve? Looking to build a self-practice but not sure where to begin? Interested in learning one of the world’s most widely taught yoga systems? The Sivananda Series is the perfect place to start.

This four-week course explores 12 classic yoga postures for all-round holistic health. These 12 essential postures are designed to strengthen and lengthen the entire body. A holistic system that not only stretches and tones muscles and joints but also revitalises internal organs, activates key glands and soothes the nervous system.

Designed by Swami Sivananda – the godfather of modern hatha yoga – this Swiss Army Knife of yoga sequences combines intentional movement with conscious breath. By effectively releasing both physical and mental tension, this expressive series of basic postures unlocks natural energy stores that help us increase focus and realise inner potential.

Taught in a fun, engaging workshop-style environment, this accessible course is designed to equip beginner & intermediate yogis with the tools to increase body flexibility, calm the mind and optimise holistic health.

Course Structure
Week One – Headstand, Shoulderstand, Plough
Week Two – Fish, Seated Forward Bend, Cobra
Week Three – Locust, Bow, Half Spinal Twist
Week Four – Crow, Standing Forward Bend, Triangle

Charlie is a 700HR qualified Hatha & Kundalini yoga teacher specialising in Breathwork (pranayama). He is currently residing in Brazil so don’t be surprised by a tropical video background & frequent bird song!

Charlie first began practicing yoga in 2014 after discovering its effectiveness for relieving anxiety & chronic pain. At the start of 2020, Charlie travelled to the Himalayas in northern India to train with Sivananda Yoga Organisation (200 Hours) & Samarpan School of Yoga (500 Hours).

Charlie believes in the healing and transformative power of yoga to help individuals realise their true potential & creativity.
