Winter Hypnotherapy Group Sessions
For the next three months, we will benefit from the quietness of winter time to explore our inner world, rest our busy minds and replenish ourselves. Relaxing into the body and not thinking in a good way to listen to our gut feelings we ignore too often. Using hypnotherapy techniques, you will discover how powerful your mind is and how you can use it to heal unpleasant sensations and feelings. Physical and psychological pain is usually amplified by our brain as we attach emotions to it. By dealing with our relationship to the pain, we can find comfort.
During the session, you will learn how hypnotherapy can help you connect with your deeper-self, identify your needs and release habits that no longer serve you. You will be encouraged to relax and focus your attention inwards, using your imagination to visualise experiences.
Habits and emotions can seem difficult to change because they are run by our unconscious mind. They are automatic, out of our control and we encounter resistance using only “will power”. Deep relaxation quiets down our thinking brain and engages our unconscious mind, which enables positive change to occur in a natural and implicit way.
Hypnotherapy is a gentle way to free yourself from detrimental habits and misbeliefs, and make room for more clarity, lightness of being and self-compassion. After a session, clients report feeling an inner shift, a relief, as if their problems are not as heavy as before. They have the sensation of being more themselves, free, excited and at-ease.
Claire Berna is a qualified hypnotherapist from the Jacquin Hypnosis Academy, and she uses her research experience in Neuroscience to help her clients rewire their ability to think, behave and perceive in a healthier way.
Please wear comfortable clothing on the day and bring a water bottle if you wish. You will sit comfortably or lie down on a yoga mat and there will be a discussion at the beginning for you to share your goals and intentions if you want.
Contraindications for hypnotherapy are psychosis, schizophrenia, pathological personality disorder and senility. We will need your doctor’s approval if you have epilepsy, narcolepsy, depression, asthma, a heart condition or if you are pregnant. Please contact your doctor before booking for the event if it applies to you.
