The Power of LED Light Therapy

LED light therapy is an incredible treatment for all skin concerns. The treatment is pain-free, downtime-free, low cost and relaxing. These are just a few reasons why I love it so much.

A little bit about LED Light Therapy

The technology works by emitting different wavelengths of LED light to target a variety of skin care concerns. The light penetrates the skin to promote cell regeneration, boost collagen production, and reduce inflammation. As a result, wrinkles are diminished and the appearance of pigmentation is improved. Additionally, LED light therapy helps to kill bacteria that causes acne breakouts, improves circulation and speeds up healing time on existing blemishes.

What does each treatment mode do?

  1. Single wave red light – helps reduce fine lines and wrinkles and boosts collagen in the skin
  2. Single wave blue light – assists in killing bacteria that causes acne
  3. Single wave green light – helps alleviate pigmentation
  4. Red light, blue light and near infrared – aids healing
  5. Blue light and green light – calms the skin
  6. Red light-supercharged – express anti ageing in as little as 10 minutes

How does the light actually work?

LED light sends low level light energy into the deeper levels of the skin which stimulates cellular activity, including the fibroblasts that produce collagen. With regular use of LED light therapy, you’ll experience reduced wrinkles and fine lines, improved skin tone and texture, as well as a reduction in age spots and sun damage.

How many treatments should you have?

  • As an add on to a facial to boost the results (every 4-6 weeks)
  • 2-3 times a week for an intensive plan
  • Once a week to keep a particular concern at bay

How often are you able to have this treatment?

As much as you like! Some clients enjoy this treatment daily, however the most common amount of usage is monthly
