Light Centre ad-hoc therapy room rental

As the governing bodies begin to allow some therapies to take place, the Light Centre is happy to offer our therapy rooms on an ad-hoc basis to those offering key services, whether you are a contracted therapist with us or not.

If you already have a contracted therapy room slot with Light Centre you can book an ad-hoc room now.

If you’re not a contracted Light Centre therapist you first need to register with us. Please fill in your details below and once approved, you will be sent the login details to start booking rooms straight away.

BOOKING TERMS & CONDITIONS
  1. Bookings can be made up to 28 days in advance and right up to the time of the desired booking. If you cannot get your desired slot, please contact therapyhire@lightcentre.com
  2. You can reschedule your booking up to 12 hours before it is due to start, and once booked, cancellations, transfers to another therapist or refunds are not possible.
  3. The therapy room must only be used during the hours that have been agreed and booked.
  4. Please vacate the room as soon as your pre-paid slot has finished. Other therapists may be using the room and therefore running over the allocated time slot is not permitted.
  5. All room hire charges include the use of 1 towel per client.
  6. (Contracted therapists only) If you have a box with your equipment at Belgravia it will be found in yoga Studio 1. You will need to be responsible for collecting and returning your own box to minimise cross-contamination of touching of boxes. The Light Centre will accept no responsibility for personal or professional items left on the premises.
  7. (Non-contracted therapists) You are responsible for bringing your own equipment to the centre and you are not permitted to leave anything in the centre when you leave.
  8. You are responsible for the therapy room and its contents during your sessions. Any damage that occurs during this time needs to be brought to the attention of therapyhire@lightcentre.com and payment for the damage must be received within 14 days of billing.
  9. The therapy room must be left in a safe and tidy condition so that other therapists can use it immediately after you. If any incidents or accidents occur that require attention, please report it to therapyhire@lightcentre.com immediately.
  10. These terms do not create a partnership agreement. You do not have the authority to enter into contracts on behalf of The Light Centre. It is forbidden to sublet the therapy room or use it for any other purpose other than what has been agreed.
  11. You must switch off all lights and electronic equipment when leaving the room and ensure the door is locked where applicable.
  12. If you are the last therapist in the building at the end of the day, and there is not a staff member on site, it is your responsibility to ensure the centre is locked and secured before leaving. Instructions how to do this will be provided during your induction.
COVID-19 RESTRICTIONS
  1. Your registered body will need to have approved your right to practice in order for you to hire a room at the Light Centre during this time and you must have suitable insurance cover.
  2. You must contact your clients when they book to notify them of Light Centre Health & Safety COVID-19 policy. (see below)
  3. Social distancing: you will need to work within and respect the social distancing guidelines as set out by the Light Centre and are responsible for informing your clients of the procedure they must follow as well.
  4. You must wash hands with soap and water on arrival and you must ensure that your clients do so too. You must ask your clients not to sit down in any of our waiting areas at Moorgate.
  5. 2-metre distance must be kept between you and any other person within our premises at all times except within your treatment room.
  6. Masks must be worn in all common areas by everyone entering the building, unless they have a legitimate reason for not doing so. Once inside the treatment room, please follow the advice of your governing body.
  7. You will be responsible for providing for yourself:
    - Hand sanitiser
    - Gloves and masks and any other PPE that you require
  8. You will be responsible for safely disposing of any of your disposable PPE in the pedal bins provided.
  9. You are not to use the cloth couch covers on the treatment tables. You are only to use disposable couch roll or similar disposable coverings. These must be discarded after each use and the treatment table disinfected between each of your clients with spray and wipes provided.
  10. You will be responsible for thoroughly cleaning and disinfecting everything in your room before you leave and in-between your clients, within your booked slot time. You must change couch rolls between each client.
  11. Light Centre will provide disinfectant and paper towels to wipe.
  12. Bins will be provided and disposable PPE must be placed within the closed bins.
  13. We will not accept any cash payments on reception – contactless payments only.
Health & Safety Procedures for Therapists & Clients

Please note that the following cleaning procedures MUST be followed for the health and safety of all. Failure to comply may result in ad hoc privileges being withdrawn

Guidance for Therapists

  2. You must contact your clients when they book to notify them of Light Centre Health and Safety COVID-19 client procedures (link in next section) and you are responsible for ensuring that they follow these.
  3. You must wash your hands with soap and warm water on arrival and you must ensure that your clients do so too.
  4. You will need to work within and respect the social distancing guidelines by staying 2-metres from any staff, other clients, practitioners or anyone else in the building except within the treatment room.
  5. Masks must be worn in all common areas by everyone entering the building, unless they have a legitimate reason for not doing so. Once inside the treatment room, please follow the advice of your governing body.
  6. You will be responsible for providing for yourself:
    - Gloves and masks and any other PPE that you require
    - Hand sanitiser
  7. You will be responsible for safely disposing of any of your disposable PPE in the pedal bins provided.
  8. You will be responsible for thoroughly cleaning and disinfecting everything in your room before you leave and in-between your clients, within your booked slot time, including the treatment couch, pillow with spray cleaner and paper towels provided.

Guidance for Your Clients

  1. If your client is feeling unwell or has a temperature they must not enter the building or leave immediately on reporting the symptoms.
  2. On arrival the client should text/ring the therapist to be let into the centre and should plan to arrive right on time, they are not to wait inside the reception area, as seating will not be allowed.
  3. The clients need to wear a mask inside the centre and if they wish to dispose of a mask or gloves they should do so inside the therapy room.
  4. Clients should remain 2-metres from any staff or other clients that may be in the centre at the same time.
  5. Once inside the centre the client should wash their hands.
  6. Reception will take card payments only, please advise your clients that we will not take cash.
