Renata is a certified Rolfing® SI practitioner, recognized by the European Rolfing® Association in Munich and a member of the UK Rolfing® Association. Her own experience as a client inspired her to become a practitioner herself. During her training, Renata developed a deep curiosity about the body’s intricate systems, exploring not only human physiology and phenomenological anatomy but also diving into the relationship between the fascial and nervous systems and the polyvagal theory.
Rolfing® SI (Structural Integration) is a holistic and educational approach designed to rebalance the body and improve ease of movement within the field of gravity. It’s practiced over a series of 10 structured sessions that progressively help individuals become more aware of their body’s organization and patterns of movement.
Rolfing® SI considers the developmental principles of the body and how it can change over time. It focuses not just on physical structure but also on how the body interacts with emotional, psychological, and environmental factors.
The goal is to promote integration of the body within gravity and to foster awareness of bodily patterns.
Rather than just treating muscle tension, Rolfing® SI explores questions like:
-How is the body organizing itself in gravity?
-Does it have enough internal space to move freely?
-How can we gently encourage the body to find new and more effective movement patterns?
By working with a client’s felt sense and self-awareness, Rolfing® SI helps them understand how their body moves and creates opportunities for lasting change.
