When we are stressed, fatigued, or overwhelmed with a lot of anxiety, we tend to breathe more with the upper chest taking more shallow and rapid breaths in and out. As a result, we tend to compromise our posture with altered fast breathing patterns. The muscle around the neck and chest area, are overworked creating stiffness and neck pain.
