I have been practicing as a Biodynamic Massage Therapist since 2016 and I have also been working in the NHS as a Complementary Therapist in Cancer Care and Palliative Care since 2018. What brought me to become a hands-on therapist was during my training as a talk-based Gestalt Therapist, I realised for some people, recovery and healing could not fully happen unless we worked directly with the body. Safety and security are not just ideas they are also feelings. All experiences are processed and relived not just in our rational mind but also in and through our entire body system. This means in order to bring about integration in all aspects of our being- physical, emotional, intellectual and spiritual, I need to really tune-in to what is happening and to adapt what I do in response to what is going on moment by moment. What brings people to Biodynamic is usually stress, life events, post traumatic stress, residual trauma or more complex psycho-physiological conditions. Biodynamic works well as a standalone therapy and also alongside talk therapies. I incorporate additional therapeutic techniques such as ScarWork, Fascial Unwinding and off-body energy work, similar to Reiki, called SourcePoint Therapy in the way I work. In my spare time I enjoy travelling, cooking, walking, swimming in the sea and skiing.
All therapists manage their own bookings and schedules. Our reception teams cannot make bookings on their behalf. To book with a therapist please contact them directly.
All therapists at the Light Centre are self-employed and not employed by the Light Centre. All therapists have suitable qualifications and hold their own insurance. Customers are contracting directly with their therapist and any issues or claims need to be taken up directly with the therapist concerned.
