
Sumptuous Sundays: Myofascial Release & Yoga
Welcome. This workshop series will help you start the new week rested. Workshops are in-person and every 2 months.
These sessions we will offer myofascial release techniques combined with gentle yoga postures, focused on offering relief to common trigger points of tension in the body, aiming to holistically support relaxation throughout your being.
No prior experience is required.
Excellent for:
• Athletes supporting recovery
• Stress relief
• Pain relief
• Delicious rest
Think:
• lying on tennis balls, blocks and rolled up mats
• exploring what your body needs
• learning tools for long-term support of your body mind
• deep relaxation and rest.
You will be taught autonomous techniques to relax and open specific trigger points in the body where we hold tension and stress, learning how to create change in your connective tissue outside this session in your life.
Throughout the series I’ll also touch on how myofascial self-massage is important for your immune function, nervous system, pain reduction and the overall health and communication of your limbs.

Instructions
All props will be provided at the centre.
I recommend:
• wearing comfortable clothes – ideally tight over baggy so clothes don’t interfere with the tennis balls.
• bring some layers to keep you warm as your body relaxes
• a water bottle 🙂
