YOGA ADJUSTMENTS WORKSHOP FOR YOGA TEACHERS
Ready to stop second-guessing your adjustments?
Ever stood beside a student and wondered whether to adjust… or leave them alone? Most yoga teachers were taught where to put their hands. Few were taught how to decide what this particular person needs.
This practical workshop helps you build both your hands-on skills and the judgement to use them well.
With senior yoga teacher, teacher trainer and former YogaLondon Course Leader Sandra Paternostro, you’ll learn to:
– Recognise when an adjustment could help, and when to step back.
– Adapt your assists for different bodies.
– Use touch with greater confidence, clarity and purpose.
Explore standing, seated and inverted postures through demonstrations, paired practice and individual feedback, with plenty of opportunities to ask questions.
Your place includes lifetime access to the Foundations of Hands-On Adjustments online course: around 75 minutes of bite-sized lessons to watch beforehand and revisit afterwards. Learn the principles at your own pace, so we can spend more of the afternoon doing what you came for: practising hands-on adjustments.
Suitable for yoga teachers and teachers in training, from newly qualified to experienced. Includes a Yoga Alliance Continuing Education certificate on completion.
Leave with more than a collection of assists. Leave knowing how to choose and adapt them for the person in front of you.
