Holo Health provides specialist integrative oncology support with a focus on safe, evidence-based Medical Acupuncture for people affected by cancer. Based at The Light Centre in Marylebone, London, we offer personalised help in managing pain, fatigue, hot flushes, neuropathy, insomnia, anxiety, and other symptoms of cancer and its treatment. Our person-centred approach combines clinical oncology expertise with whole-person strategies. Each session is designed to support treatment and recovery, aiming to improve wellbeing, restore balance, and build resilience. Appointments are confidential, professional, and tailored to individual needs. Our services complement standard oncology care and are not a replacement for it.
We are passionate about bridging the gap between evidence-based medicine and holistic support. We believe that integrating personalised, whole-person strategies alongside medical treatment can lead to improved outcomes and a better quality of life for people affected by cancer.
About Maria
Maria is registered to practice adult nursing in the UK by the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) and specialised in oncology nursing at the Royal Marsden School in London. Over the past decade, she has built a robust career across both the NHS and private healthcare sectors, becoming a Senior Oncology Clinical Nurse Specialist. She maintains strong links with centres of excellence in cancer care across the UK and collaborates with oncology specialists in the Harley Street area.
She is a proud member of leading professional bodies, including the Royal College of Nursing (RCN), UK Oncology Nursing Society (UKONS), the British Medical Acupuncture Society (BMAS), the Society for Integrative Oncology (SIO), and the College of Medicine. Maria trained in medical acupuncture with a focus on oncology and palliative care at BMAS, and in auricular acupuncture at the College of Chinese Medicine. She is also a certified Cancer Exercise Specialist (CETI) and a mindfulness-based cancer recovery (MBCR) facilitator.
Her work is grounded in clinical excellence, compassion, and innovation. She champions integrative oncology approaches that honour each patient as a whole person — physically, emotionally, and spiritually.
At The Light Centre, Marylebone, Maria works with a small number of patients each week in a calm and private setting. Every session is delivered with the highest level of personalised attention. Appointments are intentionally limited to maintain the depth of care that oncology patients deserve. In addition to her premium service, Maria operates a Compassionate Access Fund, offering a small number of places for those who may otherwise not be able to access this type of specialist support.
