B.K.S. Iyengar showed how, in the asanas, the various parts of the body have to be positioned in their correct places so that each individual part as well as the various physiological system may function to their best potential.
Iyengar yoga is a system of yoga exponented by B. K. S.I yengar. He began teaching in 1936 at the age of 18. His system of teaching helps people to progress gradually from beginner to proficient advanced level.
What to expect in the Thursday class; minutiae of the postures are explored to penetrate remote anatomical layers of the body. Step by step exploration of the asanas. Your body will be shaped into postures once you perfect the alignments and precision of the asanas.
Introducing Iyengar Yoga for beginners and practitioners who want to refresh their alignment and precision of the asanas. All level of flexibility are welcome to the classes. Props are used for the alignment of the asanas. Alles (pronounced Elise) is teaching the asana and pranayama for the health of the body. Alles has been practising Iyengar yoga for the past 39 years and qualified to teach the Introductory course of Yoga Asanas and Pranayama from the Ramamani Iyengar Memorial Yoga Institute, Pune, India in 1910 Studying and teaching in London and Ireland.
